Job description

We are looking for a dynamic Continuous Improvement Specialist to join our team and emphasizes on continuous improvement and training. Functions and responsibilities of the CI Specialist include but are not limited to:

Essential Functions:

• Identifies opportunities for improvement via data analysis and auditing.
• Assist with implementation of strategies such as 2 Second Lean and quality improvements.
• Conducts training sessions to educate team members in CI tools and techniques.
• Supports projects, such as Point Kaizens and Kaizen Events ensuring timelines and resources are effectively managed.
• Uses data analysis to track the success of implemented changes.
• Works will collaborate cross functional teams.
• Updates and reports out on various quality trackers.
• Creates templates and production visual aids as needed for manufacturing.
• Provides general administrative support to CI & Training Team, and other teams as needed.
• Required to work in the production area and office environment.
• Strong problem-solving skills, including root cause analysis tools.
• Performs 5S and Standard Work audits across the plant.
• Other duties as required.

Knowledge, Skill, and Experience:

• HS Diploma or GED
• 3 – 5 years of experience in administrative role, preferably manufacturing
• Must have excellent communication skills, verbal and written.
• Must be thorough and detailed in work process.
• Proficiency with computer system knowledge of Excel, Word, etc.
• Math skills including Standard and Metric measure and conversions.
• Bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
